Students recently represented St Helens College and Knowsley Community College at the MEI Maths Competition (Mathematics in Education and Industry) held at Manchester College, taking home two silver and one bronze award.

After progressing from the college finals, our students competed in the regional finals against ten other colleges across three categories: Go Forth, Ein2stiens and Funkies.

The competition challenged students with a fast-paced Kahoot quiz and problem-solving Tarsia puzzles.

All participants were GCSE Maths students who demonstrated excellent teamwork, resilience and mathematical skill.

Well done to everyone involved. We are proud of their fantastic achievement.
