We were delighted to host an incredible evening at Colours Restaurant where we welcomed Andrew Green, Executive Head Chef at The Municipal Hotel and Spa in Liverpool, for a special Guest Chef Night.

With a culinary career spanning more than 28 years, Andrew brought a wealth of expertise, creativity and leadership to our students in our training kitchens. Known for overseeing the refined, seasonal menus at Seaforth Restaurant, within Liverpool’s only five-star hotel, he has built a reputation for combining classic techniques with modern flair. His passion for food began with his northern upbringing, drawing inspiration from comforting dishes such as potato hash and pickled beetroot. These influences continue to shape his work today.

Our catering students worked alongside Andrew throughout the evening, gaining firsthand experience and a real insight into the world of high-level and pacy hospitality. From kitchen preparation to plating dishes for service, they had the chance to develop their confidence, build new skills and learn from a chef who is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was electric, the dishes were outstanding and our students rose to the occasion, demonstrating their enthusiasm and passion, from the start of the evening to the finish.

A huge thank you to Chef Andrew Green for providing an inspiring experience for our students and generously sharing his exceptional menu and love of food with our lucky guests.
