Picture of our students fundraising for Zoe's Place

After hearing the news that Zoe’s Place Liverpool Hospice, a charity that supports babies and young children, who have complex illnesses or disabilities, needed to raise £5m in a matter of weeks to find a new building to call home, staff and students at the College felt compelled to take action.

Through the fundraising activities below and the generosity of our staff and students, we raised over £3,000!

💛 Public and Uniformed Services students led an 8-mile run at Victoria Park, running the equivalent distance from St Helens to Zoe’s Place.

💛 Sports students led a sports tournament at our Knowsley Main Campus, seeing staff and students come together to compete for the title.

💛 Early Years students hosted a bake sale, offering half-time snacks and a ’guess the name of the teddy’!

💛 Staff and students across all campuses wore yellow to show their support.

Additionally, University Centre St Helens donated £250, on behalf of this year’s Graduation Ceremony Honoured Guest, Bernie Hollywood OBE JP, who kindly waivered his fee for such an important cause.

We are incredibly proud of our College community – their generosity and enthusiasm has been truly inspiring.
