To mark the start of an exciting New Year and term, the College introduced its first Staff Awards for Excellence Ceremony, in conjunction with CPD Day, which recognised the exceptional contributions of colleagues across the College.

With over 140 nominations from staff, eight individuals were presented with certificates and prizes by the Director of People and Organisation Development, Janet Hulme and Principal, Simon Pierce.

  • Unsung Hero Award – Pete Otten

  • Workplace Rockstar – Donna Moss
  • Last-Minute Hero – David Cunningham

The afternoon was filled with inspirational sessions centred on target setting, collaborative excellence, and excellence in teaching, learning and assessment, setting the stage for a successful year ahead.
